Power Factor Maintenance: Continuous monitoring and manual/automatic switching of APFC capacitor banks to maintain power factor above 0.98 lag, avoiding utility low-power-factor surcharges.

Earthing & Lightning Systems: Quarterly measurement of earth pit resistance across all equipment earthing and neutral earthing pits, maintaining resistance below 1.0 ohm in the main substation and below 2.0 ohms across distribution panels.

B. Standby Diesel Generator (DG) Synchronized Operations

Routine operation, weekly no-load test running, and emergency start-up of captive diesel generator sets (capacities from 125 kVA to 500 kVA).
